I'm ready to help.
I provide online teletherapy for anyone in the state of Michigan. I can help you explore the roots of your anxiety, depression, or PTSD symptoms and examine early childhood wounds. We can also explore that negative voice in your head that just won't shut up. If you are struggling in your romantic relationship(s) with communication issues, reducing conflict, or other relational issues, I can help you and your partner(s) explore when those patterns started and where they come from, as well as to heal the attachment injuries you may be experiencing.
I offer a focus on holistic healing, communication tools, stress management techniques, and an exploration of those internal voices that seem to pull you one way and then the other. If you are interested in discussing yourself and your relationship(s), and collaborating to make your current or future relationship(s) better, I would love to help you meet those goals!
I create a safe, open, and non-judgmental atmosphere with my clients, as I believe all people are important and have their own unique life experiences and ideas. I am an LGBTQ-affirmative, kink-friendly, and polyamory-affirmative therapist familiar with hierarchical and non-hierarchical polyamory, solo polyamory, swinging, relationship anarchy, and more. I have experience supporting clients related to the identity process, dealing with discrimination, navigating the coming out process, and many other relational issues for LGBTQ/polyamorous individuals, families, and couples. Regardless of the situation, each person can feel empowered in their journey towards change, and I am committed to working with my clients to find their strengths and achieve their goals.
I am an avid learner and commit myself to a variety of areas of continuing education; I am often reading multiple books at a time in an effort to give you the best information possible and to keep myself up-to-date on current literature. I also believe in providing my clients with a variety of resources outside of the therapeutic relationship, such as books, podcasts, articles, etc., as I want to help you fill your own toolbox with skills and techniques that you can utilize outside of our sessions.
When I am not working, you may find me reading, meditating, journaling, scrapbooking, hiking, or playing video games. I also enjoy yoga, traveling, spending time with my loved ones, or hanging out with my two mischievous cats, Chai and Chouli (whom you're likely to meet on a video call!)
